Google Pixel 4a with GrapheneOS
The Google Pixel 4a GrapheneOS VPN Encrypted delivered compact privacy in an affordable package. The device featured the Snapdragon 730G processor and Titan M security chip in a lightweight design.
This model has reached end of security support and is no longer available. Current devices include the Pixel 9 Pro, Pixel 9, Pixel 9a, and Pixel 8a.
GrapheneOS on Pixel 4a
GrapheneOS provided full functionality on the Pixel 4a:
− Verified boot with hardware attestation
− Application sandboxing
− Hardened memory management
− Network and sensor permission controls
− Complete removal of Google dependencies
GrapheneOS support for the Pixel 4a ended when Google's security updates concluded.
Titan M security on Pixel 4a
The Pixel 4a included Google's original Titan M security chip:

− Verified boot chain enforcement
