    HARDWARE REMOVAL

    Permanently remove hardware sensors at the device level. Each removal is physical and irreversible — software cannot re-enable what's been removed. We perform removals in-house before shipping. All warranty terms remain in effect for non-removed components.

    No hardware removal. Your device ships with all sensors intact. You can purchase removal services later as a separate order if you change your mind.
    Physical removal of the front-facing camera at the hardware level. Eliminates any possibility of front camera access — software, malware, or otherwise. Irreversible. Recommended for users who never use selfies, video calls, or face unlock.
    Physical removal of the rear camera array. Eliminates any possibility of rear camera access. Irreversible. Note that this also disables QR code scanning, photo capture, and rear-facing camera-based authentication.
    Physical removal of the device microphone. The phone can no longer record audio or transmit voice for calls. After removal, you can only make calls via Bluetooth headset or speakerphone with an external microphone. Recommended only for users with specific threat models who never need on-device audio.
    Complete removal: front camera, rear camera, and microphone. The device becomes a data terminal — no audio, no video capture, no photography. Most extreme privacy posture available. Irreversible.

    The Google Pixel 8 GrapheneOS VPN Encrypted combined Google's 2023 compact flagship hardware with a privacy-focused operating system. The device featured the Tensor G3 processor, Titan M2 security chip, and a refined dual camera system.

    This model is no longer available. Current devices include the Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro, Pixel 9a, and Pixel 8a.

    GrapheneOS provided complete support for the Pixel 8:
